Emily Harding - Mixed Media Artist
I'm a mixed media artist based in West Penwith, Cornwall. I create textural pieces influenced by the natural landscape, legends and life.
I explore the telling of stories and reframing of narratives through my work creating installation based collections.
Through my work I take an experimental, playful approach, exploring the what if's we often tell ourselves we should know better than to explore. My work is inspired by nature and often design to work with the natural environment, becoming part of the landscape and supporting life.
In 2026 I will be working on four, seasonal shows as part of a collective (details to follow)
I started exploring ceramics in 2021 when I relocated to West Penwith and in 2024/25 immersed myself in a Creative Arts Access Course. I have previously studied a variety of art & craft techniques at West Hope college in the Shropshire Hills, including: silversmithing, textiles, glass.
